I think the premise for this book and the execution could not be more different. The original premise and synopsis had me pretty interested and I was eager to read this but I really didn't enjoy it. I think it felt very unemotional and a lot of the bigger things that affected these women and the way men made them suffer felt extremely forced and never carried the weight it should have. It just wasn't my style and I felt really disconnected and disinterested in this piece but I feel like it had potential.
not as good as her other books (Three Women & Animal) imo. a lot of the stories felt like they were about the same thing
