Della is such an amazing character!
I loved reading about her and enjoyed this book so much. It is easy to read, but in my opinion not as light as the original series but I enjoyed that much more. But maybe that is because I just love Della so much.

En svag fyra. Snabbläst och underhållande på sina ställen, men tyckte att det var lite för mycket kärleksbekymmer och klagomål från Dellas håll ibland. Gillar dock Della mycket mer nu efter att få ha läst från hennes PoV!

Della
I'm not sure who I'd rather her be with at this point but I have a fairly good idea who she will end up with in the end.

3.5 out of 5 stars
I did not like Della in the first series but that was lack of knowledge. I also read her short story today. Now that I am learning more about her, I love Della! She is so strong-willed and stubborn. I really enjoy all of the characters in the Shadow Falls world.
Some things were really predictable while others caught me off guard.
Even though I really loved this book, I give it only 3.5 stars because there was a lack of originality. Adding a love triangle to a spin-off series where the first series had a love triangle is a bit much for me. Plus she follows the typical YA formula that so many others follow.
A camp for supernaturals is an original idea and the characters and story line still pull me in. Not to mention the funny lines that make me literally l-o-l. I still find myself loving it despite the lack of originality so I recommend it to lovers of YA and paranormal romance.

Reborn by C.C. Hunter is part of the Shadow Falls: After Dark series and I have to say that it is phenomenal. I absolutely love the plot and all the things mixed in. Shadow Falls the original series is one of my favorite YA series about a Boarding type of school and this spinoff is not just as good but even better.
I loved the plot. There are a few different mysteries that really keep the story moving. I like that some of our favorite characters still play a big part in the goings on. Miranda and Kylie are still strong characters so it really feels like you are just stepping into Della’s shoes. I really like how things come together and by the end of the first book some things are solved but there are still plenty of questions for Eternal.
Della was kick butt character in the Shadow Falls series, so I was pretty excited for her to have her own series. Della just gets better because now we are instead her head. We see where her attitude comes from and the different things she’s feeling. I love her. She is fantastic character because I felt like it was so easy to bond with. I loved how she develops as things happen to her, she admits to things she’s confused about. I like that she stays steady and holds to things she believes in. Just such a well rounded character.
As far as the romance goes. For the first half of the book, even though Chase is around he’s really not in your face or anything. This is one of those complicated love triangles where I don’t dislike anyone. I love Steve for Della because he is so steady and sweet. He doesn’t let her shake him off and he keeps trying. I don’t have any problems with Chase (not like the fuming hate I had for Derrek in the first series). It’s like my loyalty is to Steve because I read their novella first and he has been around longer. I don’t know. Like I said I don’t hate Chase…...Oh it’s so complicated!!!!!
So I loved the book and I’m a Della super fan. Like I said earlier this is one of my favorite YA series about a boarding school.

Received this as an ARC from goodreads First Reads. I'm so happy to visit Shadow Falls again. The first series was fantastic and now with the first book it's even better. Just when you think it couldn't get better, the author shows us otherwise. Definitely recommend this book!

This book was crazy. How could so much happen in less than 400 pages?
First of all that basketball scene at the beginning was perfect. Great way to get into the book. And Steve is so cute I loved it when he threw the basketball at Chases head I was dying of laughter.
I knew from the second that Chan didn't answer Della's call that he was dead. And right when Kylie mentioned a vampire ghost that could be Della's Uncle I knew that it had to be Chan.
I was wondering what happened to Frederika because she wasn't mentioned once in the entire book but I guess since she only had problems with Kylie it didn't really matter.
I can't believe that Della's Dad was accused of killing his own sister I was shocked. When he came to pick up the picture from Della at camp and he wouldn't hug her and didn't tell her that he still loved her I cried so much. I feel so bad for Della if that was my family I would die.
In kylie's series I never decided if I was team Lucas or team Derek I was team I want everyone to be happy. Now for Della's series I am 110% team Steve. Ya Chase is cute and when him and Della kissed that one time I was like whatever too bad he's going to get left behind and when he kissed her a second time I was like okay now he's kinda pushing it. But of course right when everything is perfect for Steve and Della, Chase has to go and save Della's life and make him and her soul mates. I really hope that the soul mates thing doesn't affect Della and Steve's relationship because they are so perfect together, but of course maybe not anymore because Della has a soul mate -_-. I guess that if Della ends up loving Chase I will too but I still want her to be with Steve.
I think that most fans could have guessed that Holiday's and Burnett's baby would be a little girl named Hannah and I thought that it was really sweet how they chose Della's middle name for Hannah.
It was weird not reading from Kylie's perspective and not knowing as much about her relationship with Lucas but I liked the change of reading from different perspectives.

It was nice to have a book in Della's point of view! Awesome.
I really loved the first Shadow Falls series, but the main reason I loved it was because of Kylie's ghosts and her scary experiences with them.
I enjoyed Reborn, it definitely felt like we were back at Shadow Falls all with the same beloved characters, however Della was an annoying main characters. Her stubbornness got in the way of rational thinking and it made her so very immature which was frustrating to read. I loved her weak side, it was heart breaking really, but I hated that she hated that side of her. I hated that she didn't like showing affection and wouldn't let anyone in, no matter the good reason. And then the semi-love triangle will probably turn into a full blown love triangle in the next book was just super annoying, I swear love triangles never happen in real life!
