I loved this story and all the romance. Such a fun read!! The spurts of Spanish really flowed well. Definitely worth reading!

I couldn't relate to the characters, didn't really find them too interesting either. The story was mostly okay, nothing super great about it.

I thought the parts where the narrative becomes the t.v show was interesting. I love the inclusion of a single dad. I also thought that the steamy scenes were writen very kindly. The book does a lot of work to make realistic sex, sexy. The way consent is given, condoms were explicitly mentioned, lube was freely passed around.

Definitely something that makes the book unique and stand out. Unfortunately, I just didn't get into the book that much.

While a little heavy handed with the messaging, I thought this was a nice read. The characters were sweet and their motivations believable. I also this the author did a great job of incorporating Spanish while making sure non-Spanish speakers understood what was going on.

3.5*

This book definitely lived up to the hype. It was steamy,it had humour.
You get hooked from the beginning. It was different from any book I have ever read. The way Alexis  writes is just pure genius in my opinion . She tells a story within a story without it being too complex to understand what is going on.

It's a story about Jasmine who is a soap opera actress, gets signed on to do a new production and there is a last minute addition to the cast,Ashton. Their first meet is all shades of awkward with him spilling coffee on Jasmine.
Ashton is closed off and keeps to himself at first but as time goes by they get closer and their relationship develops into something else. But Ashton has many secrets he's keeping from Jasmine and that puts a strain on their relationship.

This book lived up to it's hype. It was engaging from the get go and  It was steamy
