The title story, "Diary of a Murderer", carried this book into the three-star range for me. The collection was 70% "Diary of a Murderer" and 30% "and other stories". I actually forgot about the other stories until the first ended and I was left with an empty, disappointed feeling. To be honest, it was the strongest story in the collection.
I'm not sure if it's because of the difference in the length, but the stories felt like they were getting shorter and shorter as the book went on. I also know that it was not promised, but I was hoping that all of the stories would tie into the first one. The rest of the stories really brought my average rating down. Overall, it was a short read and worth it, if just for "Diary of a Murderer".

“Experts only look like experts to me when they talk about things I know nothing about.”
Picked this up because of the title story, which I thought was great! The other stories were okay, but not near the caliber that Diary of a Murderer was unfortunately. Good, but not amazing.
