I really really wanted to love this but I just couldn’t fully get into it. The angst at the start was what kept me hooked and while it did pick up a bit at the end, the first one of this series was just special. I’m still looking forward to Rivers book though.

For what it was, I thoroughly enjoyed the duo. It was a quick read and a great story. Would recommend to anyone wanting something quick to read and an easy to follow plot.
