Dragged so much. Just wanted to get to the part that the author used to advertise this duology on TikTok (it's pretty much right at the end of the second book). Characters were boring (what right did Ryker have to be that angry with Brynleigh? And why wasn't Brynleigh more annoyed about how entitled Ryker was behaving?). Just altogether hated the characters and the plot was dull, predictable and shallow.
