I really wish there would have been more to this story, especially because of the subject matter. Maybe a sequel could explore these teens and their parents coming together to expose this teacher, there's layers to the divorce and communication between the protagonist and her mom to explore...there's just so much more depth that could be a part of this storyline.

I enjoyed this so much. I must say, I've been a big fan of Leth's work for quite some time (Girl Over Paris, Spell on Wheels, etc). Not only did I love the art, especially all the details that bring back nostalgia for when I was that age, but the story hit me right in my emotions. No, I didn't exactly go through the same plot points, but this book does such a great job of encapsulating those feelings of not fitting in and being scared of letting anyone in that I think most of us felt throughout adolescence. A more robust and important-feeling work than I expected going in. Well worth the time. Highly recommended.
