I think this book would have been much better as a novel. It had so many deep topics it wanted to cover but through the medium of graphic novel, and how short it is it came off pretty surface level. I still really enjoyed the book, though. Love the early 2000s time capsule

I really enjoyed this book! I don’t read many graphic novels, but wanted to try something new! I like that Liv developed more as a character throughout and stood up for herself more than once. I love that her bond with her mom and friends got stronger!

I wish we could’ve seen the consequences Mr. Trent faced, but I realize it was more so the message of Liv standing up for herself and others versus seeing his consequences.

Would read more from this author!
