I didn't particularly care for the main character of the book. Misogyny was pervasive throughout the story, and this was rather difficult to look past. My hope was that there would be some strong character development later on, alas this was not the case. The plot was rather interesting however, and somehow kept me reading to the end regardless.

I do really like the story. The whole premise is odd and I really like that, and exploring this concept is fun. However, I felt that the narrator went on to many tangents. Often times mid chapter this would become a stream of consciousness style of writing, and I guess it just went over my head.

The story does make me feel sorry for the main character however by the end I just hate him.
