A fast paced read which took off from the first page. I got a bit confused with the plot but really enjoyed all the court room drama and lawyer talk. Those people are sneaky! Love the Eddie character and looking forward to reading the next in the series.

It’s always interesting to read a first book in a series, when you have read other cases with the same main character already. I was curious to see which case Cavanagh had chosen for his first installment, and I was not disappointed! I, personally, don’t like kidnapping and blackmailing cases too much (stress levels are high!), but how the story was told made up for it. Cavanagh also knows how to write intriguing characters, so I definitely want to continue with Eddie Flynn’s juridical adventures!
