It was pretty good. I enjoyed learning the "twist." Eddie is morally gray, but it wasn't hard to root for him. I'll continue the series.

First book of the Eddie Flynn Series 

I had the audiobook read by Adam Sims whose voice I think fits Eddie really well. 

Former conman now lawyer Eddie Flynn is an ace lawyer, he’s not above using his old skill set to help him in his professional life. 

The Russian mafi@ are blackm@iling Eddie to carry a b*mb to ass@ssinate a defendant in the courtroom. He has to figure out how to make this right without getting himself or his daughter ki11ed. 

I absolutely love Eddie’s ingenious and devious thought processes and planning which gives a very clever intricately planned plot with a fast pace and packed full of entertainment. I was team Eddie every step of the way. Go Eddie. He has a bit of a gangster vibe in this book. 

If you love crime that’s a bit different give this a go, I recommend it.

My second read by Cavanagh and it did NOT disappoint. Such an intriguing story. I’m not usually one for lawyer stories, but this one was so good. So much wondering what would happen. Eddie Flynn reminded me of Saul Goodman too. Hah
