Este libro me ha hecho replantearme si de verdad se inglés. Sigo esperando el plot twist donde Deep Throat y Woodward se confiesen su amor secreto.

Excellent historical look at the Watergate scandal. Scary how relevant it is now.

Interesting, had some details I didn't learn about in school and also an inside perspective on what it means to be a reporter. However, at times it read like a script or bullet points rather than a narrative which made it a bit difficult to get through and the conclusion wasn't very powerful or summarise what happened at all. Overall, informative and interesting and disheartening but glad I gave it a chance.

This is an absolutely shocking book - but mostly because it feels like nothing has changed. What shocked a nation 50 years ago now feels commonplace, expected.
Then I realized that both Trump and Biden were in their late 20’s/early 30’s when Watergate happened. Biden had just been elected to the Senate. What formative years for future presidents; what must these two have learned watching this all unfold in front of them?

It was interesting to read more about Watergate and the role that the Washington Post played in uncovering the story.
