✅ One of the best mafia-romance books I've read in the recent months. I've been anxiously waiting for this book to come out ever since I read the tropes in an email from Charity's newsletter. I just had to get my hands on it and I was fortunate enough to get an ARC of it.

This book had me hooked from the prologue. Out of options to keep herself safe from her crazy ex Natalia turns to her best friend's father for protection.
Natalia is strong willed, defiant and sassy and even with a death threat over her head is not holding back on what she thinks or wants. She keeps Cristian on his toes and the banter between them is amazing

Natalia recently broke it off with her ex-boyfriend, but the problem? He's the song of a mafia man and he's not willing to let her go. That put a price on her head and it put her running to the one person she least expected. Cristian her best friends dad and head of the New York mafia. Any help from Cristian comes at a cost and when she marries him, lines get blurred as he protectors her from his enemy.
This is the first dark romance by this author and it did not disappoint. Cristian isn't a good guy and Natalia pushes his buttons. A fast read with banter and plenty of spice.

DNF @27%. This just isn’t for me. Listen, I love an asshole MC and I know this is a dark romance but, there is literally thing attractive about how Cristian is treating Natalia so I’ll pass.
