I just finished reading this book today. It was action rollercoaster of events and one of spider web type of crimes when it comes to connecting dots and coming to find the criminal without becoming a victim.
This was the first book of Patterson’s Michael Bennett series that i read and honestly, i am becoming even bigger fan the more i read his books. Michael Bennet is indeed main character with all flaws and virtues he holds as an investigator, but i really loved the representation of smart killer Berger was. Imitating some of the most famous killers in history and being so calculated, so detailed in executing each of his actions - i could picture all that so vividly in front me as I read the whole story from both sides, both Bennet’s and Berger’s.
James Patterson never fails to amaze me and this book is one of which i really will recommend to my fellow bookworm friends.
P.S.:I read this book in native language so forgive me if I mispronounced their names. ^^

Not bad, but seemed somehow too similar to the other books in this series.
"Tick Tock" by James Patterson is a pulse-pounding thriller that follows Detective Michael Bennett as he races against time to catch a cunning serial killer terrorizing New York City. Patterson's masterful storytelling weaves together a gripping narrative filled with suspense, twists, and heart-pounding action. The dynamic duo of Bennett and his partner, Mary Catherine, adds depth to the story, as they navigate through the intricate web of clues left by the ruthless murderer. With its fast-paced plot and well-developed characters, "Tick Tock" keeps readers on the edge of their seats until the very end. Patterson's ability to craft intense and compelling narratives shines through in this gripping thriller, making it a must-read for fans of the genre. I think this book could be really nice if there had been a romance between Bennett and Catherine. Overall, "Tick Tock" is a captivating and thrilling ride that will leave readers eagerly anticipating the next installment in the series.

The next installment of the Michael Bennet series in which he chases a killer who is copying other famous killers. Bennet's relationship with Mary Catherine also continues to develop.

This was a great murder mystery, although I why does the relationship between Michael Bennett and Mary Catherine bugs me so much? I have to see how it plays out in the subsequent novels.
