it was cringy writing. i could NOT get past the “we’re kind of weirdos” and the “yup you guessed it” kind of writing. i’d rather chew a jean jacket than read something that sounds like it was written by a 12 yr old on wattpad
To me this was a refreshing read. Not everyone wants to read a story where the characters hop into bed quickly. I appreciated that eventually they weren’t totally clueless to the way each other felt, thanks to the friends and family they confided in. And it had some definite laugh out loud moments. So I thought this was super cute and enjoyable. The ending was a little meh because I wasn’t sure how believable the “fairy tale” ending was. But overall I enjoyed it. And so far I enjoy everything I’ve read by this author.
This book is feel good & sticky sweet. I'm thinking a guy group helping their buddy get the girl is my favorite trope. (Does it have a name?)
I recommend text over audio book. The FMC is a pick-me-girl and plays a little too dumb. I couldn't handle it when the narrator's voice lifted her personality too high off the page.
I don't mind closed door/steamless love stories, but The Cheat Sheet was pandering for "Parent Approval" when they I actually went back to check that it wasn't in the Teen Literature Section.

rushed a wedding to make to make it crystal clear that if a man loves you he would want to wait.
I love football and love romance even more. I enjoyed reading but it got pretty boring the more I went on with it. This is also a closed-door romance which was SO DISAPPOINTING since the author laid it on kinda* thick throughout the book. It was still cute but definitely something a very young/new reader would enjoy more than those of us who are avid romance readers.

I have read this book twice this year. Bree and Nathan are the absolute best. I love them both so much. Their chemistry is undeniable and Sarah Adam’s writing is perfect. I love that this is a closed door romance.
Squeaky clean, fade to black, Disney princess shit. But would make a good palate cleanser.
This screamed pick me for the first 30 pages and made me cringe the entire time, then it was cute but then cringe again
