Over-hyped su Twitter. Booktwt ne parlava benissimo, ma per me è un ni. Adoro gli slow-burn, ma questo libro è molto slow e poco -quasi per niente- burn. La trama per me aveva un grandissimo potenziale, ma non ci sono grandi eventi, o impedimenti, nulla di sconvolgente o che ti tenga con il fiato sospeso. Ho trovato il tutto fin troppo melenso.
This was such a cute, feel-good read! I loved all the characters, and it was fast-paced. I read this in a matter of a few hours. Highly recommend!

I really liked Bree and Nathan's relationship. Personally thought it was really cute. The inner monologues were kind of cringey though.
The side characters were great too! Loved the how supportive the team was.

Love, love loved this. I was feeling bored of reading ‘good books’. I just needed a good old Rom com to disappear into and this was just the thing. Think of any crappy rom-com you have watched and this has it all. Girl and boy in love with each other but too scared to ruin their friendship ✅

It’s so cheesy, cute, friends-to-lovers, and I ABSOLUTELY ADORED IT. It’s definitely something 15 year old me would’ve read and been like “this is what it’s going to be like when I get older,” and even though it’s not, this story is certainly one I came to love.

HATE the “other girls wear makeup aren’t they so superficial and bitchy” trope/tripe. Like girl, you thought the *other* people would be like mean girls? You just trashed your supposed best friend’s girlfriend for legitimately being suspicious of you when you want to bone him. Way too indulgent in stereotypes here. The cold ice queen mother. The quirky girl next door. The gay makeup artist queen. Pass.
On the other hand—it did make me think back to the Bromance Bookclub books, and they are 1000% better and more fulfilling.

okay to be honest, i was really excited and hyped for this but i felt like in the end it was cute but really cheesy and corny. idk why but i was expected it to be like one way but got something else.
i liked bree and nathan’s relationship and their friendship and the book did make me laugh sometimes. i wish we could have seen more of nathan’s povs because i feel like bree had more chapters.
