This book blew my mind!
I was a little late to the game on this one which I regret taking so long to read it because it’s brilliant. I love Kristin’s writing style. Kept my interest and the characters were well developed.

That plot twist though. Ooof. Completely blind sided but in a good way. Like jaw dropping moment. I love when I get surprised and can’t anticipate what’s going to happen.

HOLY MOLY THIS BOOK!!! Okay I buddy read this with my husband and it was so fun!! I don’t want to say too much because this book is 100% one you need to go blind into. So JUST GO READ IT! The twists were insane!

I could not put this book down and read it in one sitting. It was the definition of a plot twist, but one that you could not see until it happened and once it did, you were on the edge of your seat! The Acts of Life may have invented a new genre as I’m not even sure how to classify it. The ending was an absolute cliff hanger so there is no closure to be had and I’m praying for a second book to find out what happened.

3.5⭐️ from me for this indie debut author’s book!
I picked this up because we were friends on bookstagram & I wanted to support a fellow book lovers dream by reading their own book! I honestly wasn’t sure what genre it even was when I picked it up.
Initially I thought ok, romance book. Halfway through I was still struggling to get really into it. I liked it, the writing was sometimes cringy but the storyline & plot seemed to be progressing. However, once it got to around 70% it really really picked up & I couldn’t put it down. It really reminded me of Tarryn Fisher’s series Love Me With Lies.
Where you get the ‘villains’ perspective but are they really the villain bc you like them the entire time… anywho I’d recommend reading just make sure you stick with it & get to at least the 70% mark before you stop!
