I feel kinda bad giving this such a low rating but the writing was honestly so basic that it was putting me to sleep. It could have been so good!!!!

The idea of a vampire (Girah in this universe) going to AA to get help for their blood addiction sounds really cool, but the writing made it seem kind of lame and pointless. There wasn't enough struggle and cravings and true emotions with addiction.

Alana was interesting too and I loved how strong she was, but again I wanted more real emotion and addiction struggle from her. I do love her supernatural talents though, very cool.

I don't know why but I really thought the sex scene would have been a fade to black (I hear too many stories about lesbian romance only ever being cutesy) so I was really happily surprised that the scenes were fully written out. I appreciate the lesbian rep, that felt very genuine.

Basically it was bad writing that made this a low rating, the potential was huge.
hopeful lighthearted mysterious fast-paced

A shorter read, but a very sweet story of two people facing their addictions and coming out having found love with each other

Really great story premise - I loved Robin as the soft hearted vampire and Alana as the fiesty girlfriend. They are a great pair that really complimented each other. There were a few parts that I felt were rushed but over all good book!

This was a fun read. I enjoyed the character development and see more stories with these characters in the future. The Plot was good and I kept asking myself, "when?!" Thank you for an entertaining time.
