This was a spicy, slow burn, frenemies to lovers cowboy romance. It was great as like a beach read. I wished the setting and characters were more developed. I recently read Wyatt and Cash by Jessica Peterson, and I have to say if you’re looking for a cowboy romance I would reach for the Peterson books before the Chestnut Springs series. Peterson’s books made me feel more connected to the minor characters, the ranch, and the horses. Spice level

I’m currently kicking myself because I wish I had started this series sooner.

I was instantly hooked and fell in love with Rhett & Summer.
The tension and chemistry between them was absolute perfection.
Also, Rhett’s protectiveness?? SWOON.
