As the title states it is a brief history. It touched various topics and that was great. Yet there where parts the writer goes more into depth, and then there are parts where is the writer hardly touches the surface.
I feel that this book could have been a lot better. Some subjects were as I mentioned before, barely touched and the timeline, it was jumping back and forth which for me was quite annoying.

A metà tra il saggio e il compendio di storia, in questo libro Harari ripercorre la storia dell'umanità dai suoi albori fino ai giorni nostri. A differenza di un qualsiasi manuale di storia, però, cita pochissime date e ciascuna di queste corrisponde a svolte importantissime nella civiltà dei Sapiens, svolte spesso molto più importanti di quello che ci piacerebbe credere; sì, la storia è fatta anche di questo, piccole verità scomode da ammettere e che Harari descrive benissimo in una visione d'insieme che mette in discussione l'uomo e il suo ruolo nel mondo.
"Può esserci qualcosa di più pericoloso di una massa di dèi insoddisfatti e irresponsabili che non sanno neppure ciò che vogliono?"

Very nice book. Very informative, not easy to read as it is loaded with many information in each page but it was really inspiring and joyful to find out many things I didn’t know I was missing from our ancestors. Also very reflexive in the way of understanding how our species developed and how we became the most powerful/conscious being in the modern world.
