here am i- shedding on of my life skins, and all they will say is bernard is spending 10 days in rome

This is a challenging book filled with poetic language and it’s not your usual narrative. I personally love this style and the so-called “stream of consciousness” and I still found the first few sections to be hard to finish and almost made me want to close this book up… Until the turning point. There was a point in which everything simply started to make sense, it clicked and then I HAD to finish it. For these reasons I can’t give it more than 4, but in terms of actual beauty, this book is unmatched. Not for the weak readers who are not used to being challenged by modernism.

It gives me the feeling of being gently rocked in a cradle made out of time

'Primarily boring, secondarily confusing, for 167 pages,' she said.

This is a book I am not smart enough to get. I have no idea what happened or if anything happened. All I know is the book is amazing.

Beautiful, unique, poetic, surreal and way ahead of its time. One of those books that immerse you, submerge you in the mind of the characters, in their thoughts, their feelings, their consciousness.

Didn't connect with this at all, it basically seemed like a meaningless sequence of words in which occasionally seven people's names were repeated and waves were mentioned. The only emotion it made me feel was anxiety because I didn't understand what was happening.
