Loved it! Funny, festive, sweet. Now, I need to read more Moore. I can see why my parents always recommend him!

I don't know about the heartwarming part ... very fun. A great quick and witty little read.

There was literally nothing about this book I like. The description was, for me, more interesting than the book, and I really didn't like the way the plot played out or the characters. I didn't really find any parts of it funny or entertaining. I'm not sure I could pinpoint the exact reasons and maybe for someone else it has redeeming qualities, but it was definitely not for me. This is obviously an entirely subjective review and I know I haven't really pointed out any specifics, but in this case, for me, everything was just kind of blah. Wouldn't recommend, but I'm sure some people would enjoy it.

Best review I can write: I listened to the last 39 minutes of this in the car on the way to Christmas and my bf (who was driving) ended up putting in his earphones. When I asked why he said “because I’m so confused” which my response was “no worries I am too.” However I still can’t say anything bad about it. I wanted a book that would make me laugh but had a plot and such to it and that’s what I got. Zombies? A mystery? Comedy? All there.

This book was hilariously raunchy with a ridiculous premise. An angel comes down to grant a Christmas miracle of resurrecting Santa and sets off a zombie apocalypse. I died listening to the audiobook. It was amazing.

This wasn't my favorite Christopher Moore book, but it was short & funny featuring some of our favorite characters from Pine Cove. An easy holiday read when let's face it, you probably don't have a whole lot of time for things like reading anyway. As far as Christmas stories go, it wasn't bad, plus, zombies! Probably not for the faint of heart, because, well, zombies!
dark funny

This book was a fun light read. Christopher Moore typically makes me laugh out loud in a lot of his books. The writing is sometimes almost too joke-y, and I don't remember the plot of this book being awesome, but it was still enjoyable and funny.

A laugh out loud Christmas themed slasher that is filled with non-stop action. Completely original, with really off the wall characters. If you like weird, you'll love this one. I certainly did!

Moore's twisted world provides the perfect getaway to traditional Christmas crud. Most of the characters here are from other Moore books that I haven't read but rather than feel like I was missing out on back story, it made me want to read the books they appear in. This mash up of small town soap opera, horror movies and christmas miracles is of course funny (by turns cynical, dark and just plain goofy) and full of surprises but ultimately it winds up hopeful and romantic. A winner.
