Throughout her childhood, Kendall was relentlessly picked on and pranked by her older brother and his three best friends. When she was older, they took it one prank too far, and she left without telling anyone where she went.
Years later, she was in need of a new place to rent. Each place seemed worse than the last, but there was high demand for rentals, and she was getting desperate. She and her friend finally found a place that seemed too good to be true online, and when Kendall arrived, she realized it was. The house was owned by Gage, Van, and Connor - her brother's best friends and her childhood tormentors.
Gage, Van, and Connor all fell in love with Kendall when they were old enough to realize what love was. Unfortunately for them, their best friend Finn had forbade them from making a move on her. They also didn't know how to get her attention unless it was getting her angry, so they picked on her relentlessly. One day, she was suddenly gone. No goodbye, no word on where she went. The three of them got with other girls, but there was still no one for them but her. When she walked up the path to their house, they couldn't believe it. One thing was for sure, though: They weren't going to let her go again.
The three friends convince Kendall to give their place a chance. Her best friend, Barbie, also convinces her that this is her chance to get revenge and prank them to make up for all the times they got her. Meanwhile, the guys do what they can to win her over and eventually prove how serious they are about being with her.
At 60% in the book, a long kept secret is revealed and changes things. I felt the book COULD have ended shortly after this, especially when things seemed to slow down a bit. I'm glad it DIDN'T end there, however. Even more things were resolved, the story gave the characters their own happily ever after, and things were rounded out nicely.
If you're looking for a feel-good book where bullies are groveling for forgiveness from the girl, this is exactly what you're looking for.

It was.. okay at best. FMC suffered from early 2000s main character energy like CRAZY. She was honestly a bit too much for me and by the end I was zooming through pages just to get it over with. It was definitely too drawn out imo.
Side note, the brother was done dirty imo. It'd be 10 years since he did what he did and the author gave the guy no growth in that time period so he be the stereotypical villian until the very end.. it was a 2005 romcom through and through
