Sam Hall is an auto-read for me and I really enjoyed her first RH Contemporary romance. I definitely enjoyed the spunk Kendall showed and the fact that she just didn't fall at their feet. Her BFF Barbie really brought the humor to the story.

This standalone was all that I love from Hall's writing wrapped in a contemporary package. I absolutely loved it! Kendall has a whole lot of issues with her brother's best friends, Van, Gage, and Connor. Her biggest one may just be her attraction to them. Once she's given the opportunity to move in with them, that attraction only grows and leads to some awesome revelations and groveling. I thoroughly enjoyed this storyline and hope to see more contemporary books out of Hall in the future!

While I think there’s a some sort of plot going on, the story fell flat for me. Feels like I’m being edged constantly, expecting a climax but then get disappointed that it doesn’t come.
Personally not a fan of too many POVs but fair enough for this story.

I have been a HUGE fan of Sam Hall for sometime, I fell in love with the paranormal romances especially the bears series. I was nervous about the transition to contemporary romance because I personally have not read a lot of authors who executed both well, Sam Hall does!
I love a good redemption arc, and in this case we don’t have to live the trauma but we do experience the groveling. Brother best friends executed flawlessly, I love that they are 100% in once she comes back.
For those who loved the bears, this is a great transition book. These guys fit right in with all the sleuths we have loved.
