Teníamos muchas ganas de volver a leer a la autora y la verdad es que no nos ha defraudado. Sus libros siempre consiguen engancharnos desde el principio y hacernos sospechar de todos los personajes: cuando parece que sabemos al 100% quién está detrás de todo, la historia da un giro inesperado y derrumba todas nuestras teorías.

dont know how this got on my tbr tbqh but i was pleasently surprised. solid drama/thriller centered around the disappearance/murder of an adulterous wife, add teenage b&e to shake things up.
thought it lagged a little bit about 2/3s in, but that couldve just been me wanting to figure out who done it LOL. the writing is simple but not bland or stupid, honestly think it complements the story pretty well. lots of twists, lots of cheating, but thats par for the course with smth like this. kind of book you can picture as a limited run tv series as you read it

The end was not as shocking as I thought it was going to be… idk kind of a let down… also just confused about the husband
Surprisingly enjoyable! This was my first from this author and I listened to the audiobook. It was a classic whodunit that did keep me guessing pretty much the whole time. The end is technically a cliff-hanger if you're someone who wants everything tied up in a bow, but it worked perfectly for me. Great for summer or when you want something fast-paced and snappy.
