Snowed In

This was a very cute story that had me cheering for Christian and Megan the entire time. Unline "Holiday Romance", there is no flipping between past and present, which I appreciate. However, I do wish we had a bit more insight to the past...Why Megan decided to leave Issac, maybe heard a bit more of Issac's side of the story and, above all else, what Christian thought of Megan when they were kids and when he saw her run out on her wedding day. Catherine made it sound as if Christian might have had a slight crush on Megan when they were in school...or at least he paid attention to her then, but there was no deep-dive into that story. i wish we could have gotten more of that, but overall, I'm happy with the book. It's a great book to read in the fall or winter season on a rainy day.

I really liked this and much preferred the MMC over the FMC. She's a runaway bride - I get why she ran, but she ran and never told her ex why. Book takes 5 years later. Yes - the ex was an A hole, but at some point over the 5 years, I think he should know why. Even her mother thought she was kidnapped when she ran away.

Snowed In
by Catherine Walsh

5/5 ⭐

Megan and Christian are dreading going home for Christmas. Both of their families love drama, and them showing up single every year is the talk of the holidays. So, when the two old friends reunite in a local pub, they come up with the plan to be the best fake dates for each other, ever.

Rules and a contract are set in place over a few glasses of wine. But when old feelings resurface, and Megan and Christian end up in a snowed-in cabin, anything can happen 🤍

You guys, this book is so cute 😍 I very rarely give a rom-com 5 stars, but this absolutely deserves it! I couldn't get enough! I loved all the Christmas vibes, and all of the yearning, oh my goodness 🤭

I will recommend this book to anyone I come across, and can't wait to read everything that Catherine Walsh has to offer.

You'll love this book if you like:
• yearning
• SO much Christmas
• fake dating
• friends to lovers
• she takes care of him

CW: sexual content, controlling relationship

The audiobook of this is so good!

Loved this one! Super fun, enjoyable holiday romance! Perfect read for winter break- light and fun! I read the first book in this series and enjoyed going back to this family with Christian and seeing the continuation of Andrew and Molly from book 1 along with the delightful story of Christian and Megan!
I would say this was 4.5 stars for me!
