This is the first YA book I’ve read as an adult (I like my books grown) and I lovedddddd it! I’m a huge Tia Williams fan, so I expected to enjoy, but this was just such a sweet read and really took me back to when I was a teen. I definitely might start reading more YA.

YA friends-to-lovers romcom! I loved this. Audre and Bash are so lovable and sweet. They definitely had me smiling and kicking my feet. AND they are both such interesting characters. Very fun read.
I liked that Eva and Shane were still around but they were definitely not the focus. My only complaint is that Audre finding out about her family’s past was a bit anticlimactic. After spiraling the whole summer due to the pressure of being perfect, I thought finding out the truth would be more impactful. Still a good ending though, and a great read overall.

So I get this is YA
But, seriously, Eva would set a construction job, a wedding, a new baby, and the end of junior year all at once? Eva was selfish AF in this.
Blah. It was disappointing to me considering how incredible 7 Days & Ricki Wilde were
