This was cute - should have read the trigger warnings first. 

Georgiana is waaay too forgiving of Frances like what do you mean she poisoned Betty, framed you, and we’re going to forgive her because her dad’s a dick?

It was very Mean Girls meet Bridgerton and I’m here for it. 

I love Thomas and his dad!!! And her aunt and uncle!!! Hate everyone else.

I really like how it showed different responses to trauma, and that they’re all valid, without judgement.

While this is a period piece, the social dramas enclosed echo many young adult experiences today.  This book explores how popularity and privilege can impact friendship. Easy to fall into and whitty, its an enjoyabl read. Audio book is well narrated.

Oh my goodness. What a wonderful book!! I really loved this one!! It was funny, but also had some serious parts to it. It is no doubt about friendship, of course with drama and love interests included. There are serious moments in the matter as well, such as domestic abuse, sexual assault, and alluding to rape. As you read, we are in the kind of Georgianna and being in a new place and trying to make new friends. I could definitely relate to Georgianna in many ways of this sort. This is a great story that I would definitely recommend you read when it comes out in USA & Canada in April 5th!!!
