I think I waited too long between reading Belladonna and Foxglove. I loved the first book, but this one really dragged for me. I think I just wasn’t as invested in the characters and I just didn’t care as much about the mystery. I’ll probably still read the third book, but this one was a bit boring for me.

This did not disappoint. Foxglove is one of my most anticipated book this year and I am happy to report that this is a solid sequel. We already love Signa and Death and just when we try to take an easy breath thinking we resolved everything and saved the plight of Blythe another death soon haunts the Hawthorne manor along with a new character that is going to change their Fates(quite literally).Signa has to deal with lot of consequences for her actions in the past book while simultaneously trying to protect what's left of her family.
I quite enjoyed the book, my favorite parts are surprisingly Blythe's chapters, I loved her character even with all her flaws. I have to say that the mystery in this one didn't intrigue me as much as the one in Belladonna did and I definitely felt a drag in the middle of the books where I didn't care for some chapters when nothing significant was happening but that being said the ending made me excited even when I was able to see the twists coming. I am even more excited for Wisteria because these two significant characters seem to go at each other's throats at every given chance lol
