Really lovely second-chance romance that felt true to growing up with immigrant parents. The miscommunication here does go crazy, but the way these two find their way back to each other felt so good.

sweet home alabama with a married in vegas twist. meena and nikhil were such beautiful relatable characters with flaws that the author doesn’t shy away from, and the way they come back to each other was such a cute story i was giggling and kicking my feet

This was cute but the cohesiveness of the story was not that great. I think that second chance romance has to be structured ina very specific way in order to communicate the relationship/love story effectively and this novel did not achieve that. Plus the chapters were way too long and rambly.
