This book was very cute and sweet just a nice cosy Scottish sapphic book. Also my main take away was Scotland forever.

I don’t generally read or love contemporaries but MAN this one was exactly what I was in the mood for and I loved every second of it!! So much fun and perfectly short and sweet. Loved the romance and the way it progressed and also loved the main character Millie. For once a protagonist in a contemp who doesn’t piss me off with a million stupid decisions 🙌🙌

Okaaaay, sooooo... 3.5/5
It was great. It's cute, it's gay, it's cliché, it's chill. Everything I was actually expecting.
I love the enemies-to-lovers trope, but I still feel like it was a little bit rushed?
I knew they were going to be together before even starting the book but I didn't actually start to ship the characters before more than half of it.
Flora is the cliché of the annoying princess but she gets to grow and be nicer during the book and she's dating the cliché of the nerd girl in love with something science-related (here geology).
They're both studying in a Scottish private school and they're roommates and they hate each other...until they don't.
It was cute, really, but if it was a f/m book I'd probs have dnf it.
But tbh I was looking for (and expecting) a cute f/f romance so I can't be mad.
Here's my messy review!
(Again, french girl here, lots of possible mistakes in this review sorry)

let's go lesbians!

3,5 stars

You know what, the fact that I'd read the other novel first did make this one more fun. Just to recognize the characters, know what's going on and everything. The vibes were less royal tho, and the book wasn't anything special. I don't know if it was worth actually buying the physical version of it. The characters were good, Flora did kind of change of course but in a good way. Only you couldn't really notice their attraction or that they were really in love with each other. I want there to be a third one of Seb's true love.. That's what I need. But, my first sapphic romance, I think it could've been better. Not bad, not good. It was fine.
