The Hellfire Club crew is back in Callous Prince!

Lennox and Sloane had quite the complicated relationship. They both wanted the other and hated it which made for many push and pull moments. Sloane's character was a good one. I loved her side job and just her overall demeanor. Lennox was a bit of a typical bully but you still can't help but love him.

This was a great addition to this series and I look forward to more from this group!

It's been a while since I've been in this world so I kind of forgot the players. I really loved Lennox. He's got that bad-boy attitude I love. Sloane is also that female that I love. She's strong, doesn't take crap, fights back and has brains.

These two are really just perfect for each other. They really have this love/hate relationship but neither really know why. I loved how Rhys comes in and throws them both for a loop. Well really Lennox, because I think Sloane kinda figures it out at some point.

I do wish the ending was a little better for them. We spent a good portion of the book with both of them going back and forth hating each other and so little time of them together, which was my favorite. Hopefully we get to see them more in the next book!
adventurous dark emotional tense fast-paced

This Prince is anything but cold-hearted!

Callous Prince is a contemporary enemy to lovers, New Adult Romance with academy romance~ bullying~ slow burn~ ruthless-cold Prince~ daddy issues~ revenge~ vigilante-Veronica Mars vibes~HEA.
This is an addictive book and a quick sexy read. "Mine to torture. Mine to break".~Lennox

Lennox and Sloane are a wonderful enemies to lovers story full of HOT hate sex, revenge and espionage. As much as I loved all the growly dirty mouthed Keaton from Wicked Idol, I think Lennox took his spot as my favorite HellFire Club member. He is every bit as dirty and then some, but you get the added bonus of him not just being a Prince, but one with a decent heart as well? SWOON! I am loving this Midnight Dynasty World where you can't trust anyone and there is a surprise around every corner. Who would have thought Sloane would be the one with the most secrets? And the power to bring a Prince to his knees! I feel like there is much more investigating for Sloane to do around school, there were hints that there is a bigger story unfolding and I am totally onboard!

I admit I picked up this series due to the Midnight Dynasty tie-in. K Webster's retelling of Cinderella has enthralled me in her series, and that is where I met all the Constantine family. So I am so ready to get to know the other series involved in their world. In this book, I met Keaton Constantine's Hellfire Club mate, Lennox Lincoln-Ward. Lennox is a Prince, a REAL prince, as in from Europe. He's cold, watchful, sophisticated way beyond what you would expect of seventeen-year-olds, but to be expected in the Midnight Dynasty world. Upon seeing Sloane when she came to Pembroke for the first time, he claimed her.

Unfortunately, even young ones have a scandal in their lives. Lennox, of Lichtenstein's royal lineage, turns out to have a father who perpetrated a Bernie Madoff-size Ponzi scheme only to be taken down by Sloane's Interpol father. So that initial attraction on Lennox's part? Quickly becomes revenge--and for the next four years, he's Sloane's self-appointed bully. You know that thin line between love and hate? Yeah, it gets blurred very quickly for Lennox.

We get the enticing and delicious story of Lennox and Sloane coming together, and it is fun to watch. Sloane is tough, smart, and has a unique skill-set she uses for good. She gets the better of Lennox on occasion, and that is delightful to read. We also have met others in this cast of friends and classmates that I am sure to have books coming. I'm not a big reader of the high school sub-genre, but this was fun.

Callous Prince, the second book in hellfire club by [a:Becker Gray|20591486|Becker Gray|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1611920324p2/20591486.jpg]
Lennox a real life prince and Sloane, our faerie king assasin .
I loved reading the banter and chemistry between these two.
We even got to see glimpses of other characters in hellfire club.
(Yes, rhys baby. I am looking at you)
The story was fast paced and not dragged at all.
The chemistry and the sex scenes were

I loved going back to the Pembroke Prep books, I had read Keaton’s story a while back so I was dying to read more about his friends and Lennox and Sloane’s story was addictive from the beginning. The book is angsty, steamy and all the characters were amazing. I love bully romances and this was really great, besides Sloane was a badass and she didn’t let Lennox see her break whenever he did or said something to her.

Sloane only had her father so she really wanted to make him proud. He worked for the Interpol and she also wanted to follow in his footsteps so she was very smart, sneaky and fierce. She always tried to stay away from Lennox but he was always lurking around her and thanks to their friends they used to be around each other.

Lennox was a prince and also a member of the hellfire club, he used to be hateful and cruel to Sloane thanks to her dad’s actions in the past but he was drawn to her from the start so he tried to be around her at all times. He was very possessive of her and despite his actions he always kept his friends away from her. His friend Rhys knew Lennox wouldn’t get close to Sloane on his own so I loved reading how Rhys made Lennox jealous so he could finally see Sloane as something more than an enemy.

Sloane and Lennox were really good together, despite their past, their attraction was always undeniable and I loved all of their interactions and how Lennox changed around Sloane. Their scenes were really steamy and they were always sneaking around to be together. I also loved how Lennox finally admitted his real feelings for Sloane and how despite their ups and downs they found a way to be together and happy.

The side characters were amazing too, Sloane’s friendship with the girls was the best and now I can’t wait to read more of the next couples.

3.5 stars
They are back and damn, it’s hotter than ever. I was looking forward to read Lennox and Sloane story. They made an interesting impression on me in the first book and as my favourite trope is enemies to lovers this should be just one of the great books I’m reading this year.
Hmm I wanted to like it more than I did because, let’s be honest, it’s hot as hell and the chemistry and banter are just perfectly done.
But somehow, some things were a bit too much for me and I was looking for more development into other parts of the story.
Saying that, it’s a book that I would recommend to anyone who loves their stories full of sexy scenes and dirty talking characters.

Callous Prince is the second book in the Hellfire club. This book is told from dual points of view from Lennox Lincoln-Ward and Sloane Lauder. Lennox is a Prince and had a rough past. Due to Sloane's father arresting his father in the most public way. Therefore he wants to make Sloane pay.

Sloane doesn't understand why Lennox has such a problem with her. However as the book goes on she realizes her father was involved more in his father's case then she thought. When her father asks for her help in snooping through Lennox's stuff she agrees since he's making her life rough.

However as the story goes on they start to have feelings for each other. Sloane is now hiding what she did from her father from Lennox. What happens when Lennox finds out what she is hiding? Will his feelings be stronger than his hate for her and her father?

I really enjoyed this book, and can't wait for the next one in the series!
