This series was very interesting to read. And I don’t even know if I can adequately review the books because part of me wanted to DNF multiple times throughout the series. And then the other part of me couldn’t stop reading because I wanted to know what the hell was going on and just to get to the bottom of all of the twists. I think the issues that I had with the books was there were a lot of holes. Not necessarily in the plot but in the characters. And I wanted to roll my eyes really bad. For example, When Tillie finally comes out to Madison that she was abused at home, she didn’t have a reaction other than wanting to go eat. And when Madison‘s life was in danger and they fled to a secret cabin, they just decided to randomly go paint balling? I just found the series to have really random moments that didn’t go with anything. It was almost as if I was reading two different series. I had a really hard time with the lack of emotions. There is a loss of a child and instead of having, to me normal reactions to losing a child in a horrible way, the parents acted like they lost their pet goldfish and just continued to party and have random and spontaneous sex. There was more detail in outfits that the characters were wearing instead of the horrific events of a baby that died. (And as a mother who has gone through fertility issues, this really really upset me reading.)
There were books that I liked more than the others. I am not necessarily a fan of any of the characters. No one really seemed redeemable or likable in my opinion. The entire series was just really mediocre but there’s something about Amo Jones writing that makes me keep coming back for more. I absolutely loved her Crowned duet and LOVE the Midnight Mayhem series.
If I had to rate the series as a whole, I keep going back-and-forth with my rating. It would probably be a three out of five because the entire series kept me somewhat engaged where I was able to read the first five books in about 48 hours. I own all her books and paper back because she has some of the most beautiful covers LOL but this isn’t a series I would probably reread.

“Trust no one. Fear no one. Fuck everyone”

This story is a dark romance and contains triggers and situations that may not be suitable for everyone.

Whelp!! I literally finished all 5 books in almost 3 days. I just couldn't stop! I swear, if I can give this story more than 5 stars, I totally would. This my first Amo Jones book/series and I am now a huge fan. This series has everything; lies, secrets, deceit, twist and turns, possessive alphas who don't know how to deal with feelings, scorching heat, violence, overcoming trauma. It's intense! I'm going to recommend this every chance I get.

I received an ARC and voluntarily gave my honest opinion and review

This series is so good! Totally one of my favorites that I can never get enough of! Amo Jones has done a fabulous job at writing this world and these characters!

This world is crazy! There is so many twists and turns you don’t see them coming. You are literally on an emotional roller coaster ride throughout the entire series. These characters are all so strong and confident. They are literally top of the food chain. I wouldn’t want to mess with them. I literally love this series so much I can’t put it into words!

I definitely recommend reading this! Such an amazing journey you are taken on! This also prepares you for the next book in the series coming out!

This is a review of the whole boxset. I'll try to not spoiler anything but I can't really promise. So sorry in advance.

I've read this whole series a while back including a much needed break betweend book 3 and 4 to get my mind onto something else for a while.

I seriously have to say that this series blew my mind. It is one of the darkest books I've ever read. The characters are so unique and different. They all have some kind of difficult past that you don't see from a mile away.

The first three books are about Maddison and Bishop who have their ups and downs, twists and turns and at the end they find eachother in all the dark times. In their story you get to know all the characters pretty well and you get thrown into the deep end. You won't be able to stop yourself from reading this series in one go and find out all those dirty little secrets hidden in the Elite Kings world.

Book four and five are about Nate and Tillie. Nate has been my favorite since the beginning of the series so to see his story warms my heart. But it isn't any less dark than the first books, it get's much darker and alot heavier than I thought. Since I read one of Amo's other series before I started this one I had a feeling about what might happen in these books. nonetheless it still took me a while to process it and I needed to take a huge breath before continuing.

I can't wait to read the next few books in this series after the events that happened in book 5.

Books 1-5 in the Elite Kings Club series all in bundle! #1 The Silver Swan, #2 The Broken Puppet, #3 Tacet a Mortuis, #4 Malum: Part 1, #5 Malum: Part 2

I purchased this eBook bundle to start off my EKC journey. This series is a bit of a mind f*ck but I loved the twisted ride. This series has solidified me as a fan of Amo Jones the queen of angst. Loved it.

Oh my goodness! I love Nate and Tillie’s story. They fought everything seemed like it was set up against them. I loved her fire. She didn’t back down and handled everything throw her way like a Queen. Micalea’s death killed me, but I’m so glad I trusted that all of it would work out.
