Macon is the youngest of the Spade brothers. He is known as a playboy always with a different woman nightly and never the same woman twice after his heart was broken while he was in college.
Brooklyn lives in Hawaii and she has a full time job and a college student. She was the wait of the world on her shoulders and let off a little steam she goes to the club to dance. To her dancing clears her mind of all the stress she has.
Macon was at the club for a bachelors party for his friend and sees Brooklyn across the dance floor. He immediately went to her. They ended up having a great night, but when all things were said, and done, she got up and left, never exchanging names or phone numbers. Now Macon is stalking the club for a chance to see her again which is a first for him. When he found her he convinced her to give him another chance.
I really enjoyed this book. The story line and the chemistry between the two charters were great. I couldn’t put the book down and can’t want for the next Spade Brother.

It is so refreshing to read a story about mature adults who can communicate and resolve issues before they become uncontrollable. Macon and Brooklyn are both passionate professionals and they work hard to achieve goals. Neither of them have the time or inclination to have a relationship, but when they meet unexpectedly, everything changes. Macon is a perfect book boyfriend. That's not to say that he doesn't have any faults but he is thoughtful and caring and I loved him. Brooklyn reminds me a little bit of myself. Starting from the ground up and building a career for herself with pure determination and perseverance with no help from anyone except her sisters. As with any Marni Mann book, she delivers the spice 100%.

4.5⭐️ This was such a fun and quick read! Macon couldn’t keep his eyes off of Brooklyn in the club and threw his playboy rule out the window as soon as he saw her. He knew he had to have her and he would do whatever it took to get her. The chemistry and banter between them was everything. I love a good billionaire romance, especially when the mmc falls hard first. Definitely excited for the next book in the Spade Hotel series!!

If the movie Blue Crush was an adult steamy book this would be it!! Except there is no surfing or pro athlete instead a swoon worthy billionaire that you will fall in love with! This was a quick fast paced- he falls first, spicy book. Macon who starts off grumpy, confident, typical playboy. His character seems rough at first as the story goes on more layers peel back and you see just how sweet, caring and obsessed he is with Brooklyn. He knows what he wants and gets what he wants. I really enjoyed the story of Brooklyn and Macon and how they fall for one another. I listened to the audiobook which is narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Tor Thom. Their voices elevated the characters perfectly. It was an easy listen and quick as the story unfolded. Many thanks to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the digital review copy of this novel.
