A human FMC with little to no family stumbles into a Fae world and crosses paths with a super hot, rich Fae man. The chemistry is obvious, but she decides to be mad about it anyway — cue the snide remarks, failed murder attempts, and general stubbornness. He’s perfect (and perfectly morally grey), while she struggles to keep up. The world-building and magic system are easy to follow, making it a quick, accessible read. I picked it up because it was available at the library. I'm not mad about it, but I’ll probably forget it within a few weeks. Overall: it was fine.
