My last Discworld book. Im sad that there wont be any more city watch adventures but at the same time feel very greatful for these books.

After the grim ride that was [b:Random Acts of Senseless Violence|1129928|Random Acts of Senseless Violence|Jack Womack|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1348132999l/1129928._SY75_.jpg|511869], I needed something lighter and more enjoyable to cleanse my literary palate. Pratchett is always a great read and Snuff was extremely enjoyable. The story is a little bit like the plot from the movie "Hot Fuzz", where the over-achieiving police detective is sent someplace quiet to cause less trouble. In this case it's Commander Sam Vimes of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch and he's been coerced into a country vacation by his wife and the city tyrant Lord Vetinari. And much like the movie, the commander isn't in country for long before he finds himself caught up with multiple criminal enterprises.
A quick read and a lot of fun.
