this was super cute! It was quick and a fun read.

Clay & Lauren weren’t really enemies to lovers in my opinion, more of just close family friends that didn’t really get along.

I loved their secret meet ups, it was fun to watch them interact! I feel like the end of the book was rushed and as a reader i wanted more of their relationship once it was out in the open.

It’s giving: “enemies” to lovers, brothers best friend, small town romance

Rating 2,5⭐️. I hated you first by Rachel John is the first book in the sworn to love you series. It’s a flirty romance with only kissing and a sprinkle of humor. Main trope is brothers best friend.

In my opinion this one is fine. Pretty easy to get thru but it didn’t stand out in any way. I’ve read a few books in the sweet romance genre this month and this one’s probably at the bottom of that list.

I found the family dynamics weird. As an example Lauren’s dad went to his sons best friend and employee (Clay) to make him spy on his daughter. So Clay could report back to him about her love life. That’s creepy. Btw, they all work together and don’t seem to get along. And I don’t get Clays grandparents either.

Lauren and Clay are admittedly my favorite part of the book. They are cute together. But everything else is pretty bland

Y’all I literally loved this book. I absolutely loved it so much, I will not lie the beginning was not that good but like  the rest of it was soo cute. Lauren & Clay are the cutest and I enjoyed this book more than I thought I was going to.
