this was super cute! It was quick and a fun read.
Clay & Lauren weren’t really enemies to lovers in my opinion, more of just close family friends that didn’t really get along.
I loved their secret meet ups, it was fun to watch them interact! I feel like the end of the book was rushed and as a reader i wanted more of their relationship once it was out in the open.
It’s giving: “enemies” to lovers, brothers best friend, small town romance

This book is very predictable, superficial and only mildly entertaining. But it was exactly the kind of low stakes, low angst, low irritation level simple story I was in the mood for. So I was able to enjoy it despite its lack of good qualities.

A very light and fluffy enemies to lovers book. This book was fun and sweet but sty more surface level for me personally.
I thought Clay was super cute and was glad he wasn't some "jock". Clay was sweet and kept trying ways to stay close to Lauren.

I wanted dnf this book so much
This book was such a bore that I started reading different book in the middle of it just to feel some excitement.
I know for sure that I liked Denver (h date/friend) even if everyone laughed at him and felt sorry for him.
Barbecue party was awful, her family is rude. I can't even imagine that someone thinks it's okay or funny to say things like they said to a person they met for the first time.
Gods, how much these people meddling in personal affairs isn't cute, it's outrageous.
Drama was so childish and stupid. Hero and heroine just suddenly decided that time is come and started dating after years of mocking and let's name it hate.
And then they decided to hide their relationship, even when they discussed ownership of company, shares and going to sign an agreement. It was such a stupid decision.
And after everyone find out about them it coused more drama and resentment.
Heroine's brother just man-child.
Is this book about romance? Riiight. There no sexual tension between main characters, no smutty at all, just few short kisses, that's all we got. Scenes with them little bit cutie, but I didn't see big love there. Nope.
