5 stars…
I really really enjoyed this one! Campy being “straight” is… interesting. As a bi person myself I was feeling a bit angry about the “I’m not gay” shit he was throwing around constantly but thank you Pixie! Love that boy.

I’m not sure exactly how realistic it is that Jackson would come to LA and be a breakout star after one season but good for him. I’m so happy with the cowboy and who he was as a person. When he just decided he was done with everyone but campy I was sooooooo happy.

They talked very very little about Campy in the actual porn in this book (appreciated) and Jackson being so cool about it made me less worried about it.

2/5 on spice. 2/5 on kink. 1/5 on tears. Cheers to hoping Pixie and Bears book is not poly so I’ll actually read it 🏃‍♀️

Yes, Sir, I liked this book a whole lot.

Loved both of these guys. Jackson was delightful. Straight out of Texas, living in LA, crushing on his Gay Porn star roommate who is straight. Uh. And yet, that boy knows exactly what he wants and he’s going to get it! No matter what Cameron throws at him, he is steadfast, caring, and patient. His love for Cameron just oozes out of him and it’s everything!

“How do I tell him that he is more? That he’s everything I want? When I look at him, I see it all. The ranch, the dog, the white picket fence, maybe even a couple of kids.”

Cameron was unexpected. I didn’t know what to envision from him. He was living so many different lives, buried under so many lies and responsibilities, and crushed by dreams that seemed impossible to achieve. He was sweet, and lost, and along comes Jackson who sees all of him. Who believes in him wholeheartedly. How could he not fall in love?

This was the sappiest of the books so far, and I’m absolutely not mad about that.

Omg so good

I never wanted Campy to end. My favourite of the series so far. I love a touch of angst but not so that it goes on forever and this was perfect. I wish I could write as well as these 2 authors so I good express how great this book is. Cannot recommend enough! Get it!

Another winner in this fantastic series from two of my favourite authors! I don't know how they do it but their stories are just so entertaining, drawing you in into it's grasp right from the start meaning that I finally finished at 2.20am :-)
Campy and Jackson finally get their story told and what a roller-coaster it is. Campy has a lot of secrets weighing on his shoulders and his new roommate, Jackson, is just too much of a temptation to ignore. He offers a supportive friendship and his Texan charm doesn't do any harm either. There's a fair bit of dancing around but all of it is done with class and your heart just melts when it comes to the two men together, even just as friends. This story takes place alongside the previous ones so if you are following the series, we read things that have already happened but from Campy or Jackson's POV. I love how integrated all of the Ballsy Boys men are. Though they are not constantly living in each others pockets, they are still relevant in each other's stories and the friendship and support that they all give each other is so important to uplifting our current MC's.
Nora and K.M. are one of my favourite writing teams. The characters are given such endearing qualities, making you fall in love with them and struggles that they are go through are easy to relate to whether it's every day little problems or huge things such as debt, health problems, etc.
Cannot recommend this story and series enough. You can read it as a stand alone but it includes characters/couples from previous books. I cannot wait to read Pixie and Bear's story. Can only imagine the explosions that will happen with them!
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

Honestly, I think I would have preferred this story if they'd put an asexual spin on it. I loved the love, don't get me wrong, but I didn't really believe the attraction between the characters. I actually enjoyed the themes surrounding the relationship a lot more that the relationship itself. Also, I have to add, the writing was on a whole other level from Tank. (Spoiler alert: it is not a higher level.)

it was probably my favorite of the series. and I love oblivious characters. but you've been doing gay porn for years and you think you're straight ? not even a little bi ? Jackson was the highlight of this book, my very earnest cowboy turned actor with a heart of gold. He's a gem.
