If I had to recommend a spooky book to read for Halloween or just to creep you out any ay of the week, I’d recommend this one. It’s taboo, spicy, creepy, and gets under your skin in all the right ways. It reminds me of a good horror movie, where the anticipation of what’s about to happen is the real thrill. And, in true Harleigh Beck fashion, there’s a great plot twist.
The story follows Camryn, who, after a tragic accident, moves with her mother and stepbrother into a creepy old house, the one in every neighborhood that’s rumored to be haunted. From the moment they move in, it’s one eerie event after another. Amidst the horror, the relationship between Camryn and her stepbrother, Dominic, unexpectedly deepens. The reader is provided little hints ad clues as the book progresses and then everything falls into place. The spice and horror in this book are perfectly balanced, making it a must read for fans of erotic horror. It is well written and feels like a quick read since it is non stop. 100% would recommend.

This was my first read by Harleigh and it certainly won’t be my last. I just finished this and still crying lol. I LOVED this book. I was sucked right into the story with the authors captivating writing and story telling skills. This was honestly such a wild ride and I didn’t see that twist coming near the end! I’d highly recommend this book to any horror loving fan. Great for spooky season!
The perfect spooky season read! I could not get enough of this book. The plot was a thrilling roller coaster of mystery, some forked tongue action and well placed spice that left me breathless. Honestly even the scary parts were erotic and I was PANTING! The MMC, Dominic, was nothing short of top-tier! His character development was brilliantly executed—he was unhinged, over-the-top, obsessive, dark, and absolutely delicious. The ending left me open-mouthed and craving more. I’m beyond obsessed with this paranormal read and you should be too. READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED, please check those triggers!
The way harleigh beck can write the most unhinged stuff and make it hot and spicy AF needs to be studied. Conjure is no exception and was released at the perfect, perfect, perfect time for that "spooky season itch" that (i feel all year long) dark romance lovers and erotic horror lovers will go ABSOLUTELY FERAL over. I will continue to gobble up earch and every one of these releases becuase they NEVER disappoint.
