mehhh so freaking boring and not important by the slightest.

Enjoyed the "missing stories" in this volume well enough, but this was clearly a place to put those extra tales, and the other stuff was gratuitous. I REALLY liked this series, but must remember that I'm not a tween and don't need to read all the extra things that are published to pacify fans and make money. Lesson re-learned.

takes place between books 4 + 5; cute short stories
adventurous funny lighthearted

Nice stories and funny interviews. My issue with the interviews, though, is that they don't really say anything new. The stories are nice in itself, but it's a bit difficult to place them in the grander scheme of things.

3.5 stars This is a fun little companion to the Percy Jackson series. It's worth reading for the short stories, which were entertaining and add some extra background that comes into play in the Heroes of Olympus series
Spoilerlike the origin of Festus and how Bob the Titan lost his memory
. The stories felt a little rushed at times, but they were nice, quick reads.

There are also some other little additions, like interviews (which didn't really add much to the characters/universe, in my opinion), illustrations, a crossword puzzle, and a word find. I didn't really care much about those, but I'm sure they're fun for younger readers (or readers with a paper copy rather than an ebook one).

Overall, this is worth reading if you're a fan of the series, but it's not essential or anything.

A nice little addition worthy of 3,5 stars.
Not sure if it will have a lot to say for the last book.

I liked it. It’s a fun bonus to the overall series but, as I think it’s obvious, it isn’t really imperative to read.
