Basically a (light) steamy Hallmark movie. It’s cute, but doesn’t have much substance. It could probably be a 1/4 shorter if the author cut out multiple conversations that had occurred multiple times. Okay, not great. But a light, easy read.
3.5 stars for this smutty little Hallmark Christmas book! Perfectly predictable and spicy so I’m excited to read the sequel (Duke, Actually). I was miffed with the main character Marie’s grief of her mother….That sounds harsh but it was practically the entirety of her personality, which got old quickly. In general would’ve liked a little more depth with the characters, but then again, this book was meant to emulate a cable-channel Christmas movie so perhaps my expectation for well-developed characters is unrealistic haha. Definitely a cute story to spark the holiday spirit!
Just what I needed to get me in the Christmas spirit. Hallmark channel cuteness meets steamy goodness! Just what I want!! Loved the romance, holiday spirit, and steam. Loved the MCs, even 11 year old Gaby.

A Hallmark Christmas movie distilled down to the best parts and then make it steamy. Even the side characters are wonderful
