Honestly, I liked it. It's a fine read, and hits all the rom-com buttons. Leo and his sister Gabby is sweet; the fish-out-of water scenes (first for Marie in NYC and then Leo and Gabby in Eldovia) are quite charming. It's sweet and swoony, and then there's some pretty hot sex just after the half-way mark.
As other reviewers have said, if you like Hallmark Christmas movies, you'll like this. I don't think it's Holiday's best, however. The entire thing gets marked down because of the log cabin. 3 days to half finish a building and one that's been sitting there with no roof for 3 years and no clean up needed ???
