I really wish GoodReads would let us rate with 1/2 stars! This book was a solid 3.5 for me.

It was a cheesy holiday read, but leaned more sweet than cheese and for that, it gets a 3.5 rather than a 3.

There was surly man, sweet princess, adorable little sister, angry King and some steamy moments with some lovey-dovey moments and a Hot Cocoa ball. I mean. HIIII Hallmark in a book!

I know this was big in 2020 and I might be the last person to read this so I will keep this short and sweet! I enjoyed this, I've been dubbed the Grinch of holiday reads in our KU book club group and for once...I really liked one! So if that influences you to read this one...my job here is done!

This book was the perfect “Hallmark Movie Book” if there ever was one. Or even a Netflix original movie into a book. It was short, sweet and just what I needed to get into the holiday spirit.
