I was in a deep hangover/slump after the last series I just finished. I started 5 different books and just couldn’t get into anything. Finally, I landed on One Dark Window and I could not be happier. The unique world and magic drew me in immediately and I was hooked. I’ve never read anything quite like this book, and really, I’m not even sure how to categorize it. Medieval world meets tarot cards and forbidden magic with a hint of deep trust, love, and bonds formed throughout. Also camaraderie in the most unusual way. I loved it.
The story left me wanting so much more and I’m IMMEDIATELY hopping into book 2!
