I have seen so many people recommending this book, and at first I wasn’t sure how I felt about it. However, the more I read the more I was immersed in it. It has a super interesting plot and unique magic system. The ending has me on edge and I can’t wait to start the second book! I found myself just a little disappointed by the “aha” moments because they felt a bit too predictable, and I was frustrated with Elspeth for not being able to figure certain things out faster. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the book though!!
