All our choices brought us here
That quote sums up the book!
This is a modern tale about a girl that wanted to magically "fix" everything and take a shortcut to life, but the easy way is always the wrong way,and we are the accumulation of our experiences, and past mistakes shape us and built our character.
The art kind of reminded me of Asian cartoons, nothing particularly awesome, and the narration was simple and straight forward, written in the vernacular with a lot of slang thrown in there.
Nothing mind-blowing but it was enjoyable and I did like it.
Loved this! I really like O'Malley's style and writing and the messages in his books. I didn't completely love Katie, but I think that's part of what makes this book good, too. We know Katie's not doing the right thing, over and over again, and we know she's being selfish, but she learns and tries to fix her mistakes, in the right way, in the end. Definitely worth a read. Now I think I need to go reread the Scott Pilgrim books.

it's funny, i love the back-and-forth between Katie and the narrator, but at times i felt that this narrator was overused, like sometimes it would have been better to let readers figure it out rather than immediately spell it out for them. a good example is when Katie forgot a single mushroom in the backseat of her car. that would have a good place to make use of its graphic novel format, maybe a dramatic zoom in (which Seconds does have!) on the single castaway mushroom, rather than explain the situation with text. that brings me to one of this graphic novel's strengths: its art. it's so good—the architecture is very pretty, the colors,…

This is weird and fun and spot-on what it is like to be in your late 20s when you think everyone has their life together and you're the furthest from figuring it out. The art is excellent, and the fantasy-reality bending is neat. A solid standalone graphic novel.
A really fun books. Love the art and the story was really cool. Crazy and weird and fun! Highly recommend.
Wow. Amazing, disturbing, and an interesting premise. Really great.
