I loved it. The pace moved at a steady clip, and while I think anyone who reads this could see the cliche path Katie was going to follow but I thoroughly enjoyed the journey! And the ending. Definitely recommend this as a quick and interesting read. You'll find yourself rooting for Katie to figure it all out and find her peace.

A charming twenty-something coming of age tale filled with realism, angst, and magic. O'Malley's trademark style is the perfect medium for this story about do-overs and self acceptance, told with humor, and just a little bit of horror. A wonderful single sitting read.
I loved this book so much! I'm a bit new to graphic novels, but Seconds is the best one I've read so far. I really enjoyed the storyline, and I looooooveeeee the artwork and style so much! Need to read Scott Pilgrim ASAP
Fantastic. I love this story. It is about Katie and her restaurant. She is a chef. The story is a foodie story. It's also about mushrooms and I love mushrooms. Yum. There is a house spirit, which I think is the twist that I really love. There is other dimensions and witches and all kinds of cool things. There is a love story and there is snow! I mean this has everything. I think it's set in London, could be wrong about that, but it seems British.
There is a notebook and if you write: 1 Your mistake, 2 Ingest one mushroom, 3 Go to sleep, 4 Wake anew, you can correct a mistake you made in life. Sounds great right? It creates a great story.
I am a fan of the art and I loved Katie as an imperfect character. Her restaurant 'Seconds' sounds so good and I would love to eat the food. I'm so glad I read this. This is by the buy who did Scott Pilgrim. Of course it's good.

I loooooved seeing the author’s personality come out in this! The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 stars is because I did think the plot could have been a bit more original in a few areas.

AMAZING!
AMAZING!
-cough- Pretty awesome.
Loved the O'Malley, Scott, and Ramona cameo. But serious amazing story that functions so well on its own. I actually tore it open to quickly reread parts because I really struck a chord.
A book that made me go "damn I wish I wrote/drew that". Doesn't happen too often.

it's so painfully obvious that the female character here was written by a man. i roll my eyes out of its sockets every time katie talks.
Bryan Lee O'Malley once again delivers to his fans a tale of absurd yet completely relatable adventure plagued with the same adolescent awkwardness and self-discovery found in his "Scott Pilgrim" series. The story is complimented, expectedly with beautiful artwork and an immersive setting.
Bryan Lee O'Malley can do some amazing stuff with sequential art. I have been collecting the Scott Pilgrim books and plan to read them when I have them all.
But I took a look at Seconds, and it is a fascinating read. I thought it was just going to be about the travails of a restaurant owner, but O'Malley throws in just enough supernatural and twisted reality to make a great story.
A fun book, with great art.
Highly recommended.
