I really enjoyed this! The first time I read this book was in High School. I loved the art style and thought it was very whimsical, but now revisiting it as an adult the story really pierced me through the heart and reminded me of a lesson that should never be forgotten. This is truly a treasure, I’m glad I decided to read it again.

SO GOOD but... why is Max such a dick? All I wanted out of life was for Katie to realize that he's worthless and end up with Andrew or Arthur or Hazel or literally anyone else. Oh well.

What a fun graphic novel about Katie, an ambitious restaurant owner, who tries to make everything perfect with a little help from a house spirit and magic mushrooms that allow her to travel back in time to fix what is 'broken'. Will everything turn out all right? Will Katie get the guy and her new restaurant?

Hadn't heard much about this one, but once again I'm pleased with O'Malley's story telling. While there was a range in terms of YA-Adult content it fit perfectly with the premise of the story. I found Seconds to have more depth than Scott Pilgrim, but similar in tone. Some parts were predictable, but it was fun to read and another GN I'd be happy to add to my collection. Loved the artwork as usual and the humor or should I say humour? There were even a few surprises that worked on a couple of levels, personally, which gave me extra warm fuzzies.

my new favourite graphic novel !!! <3

WHAT! This was so good! Why'd I put off reading this for so long?? This was so so funny and really touching and at some parts kind of scary but overall it was mostly funny and perfect. I almost wanted to start tearing up at the end because I loved it so much. Also, I really liked the art style. Safe to say, I'm going to have to check out some more works of Bryan Lee O'Malley. This makes me want to read so many more graphic novels now.
