Be More Chill

i remember this being a better story when i was 12

Loved the musical, had to read the novel. A warning about the dangers of the internet written in 2004. The book is so much darker than the ending of the musical. It’s about how easy it can be to trust the wrong information and it’s so refreshing to read a book that ends so bleak

I really struggled on how to rate this. I didn't care for a lot of it as I was reading it, but I really liked the ending, and that's making me feel better about the story overall.

I read this after seeing a production of the Be More Chill musical, and I was curious about the differences between it and the book. I think my biggest takeaway is that it's been a long time since I've been inside the mind of a teenage boy, and I'm okay with that.

This is an amazing book for young adults. I read this within middle school and remember not being able to put this book down. Its a real page turner.

Just awesome.

Incel vibes. Whole book made me uncomfortable but I finished since it was part of a challenge.
